2026 Season — Property Locations by Bedroom Count
Where are St Andrews rental properties?
If you’re trying to get a feel for where student rentals tend to come up in St Andrews, the map above gives you a quick picture. Select a bedroom count and you’ll see where properties were listed during the 2026 letting season — from one-bedroom flats to larger houses for groups of five or more.
A few things stand out. Two-bedroom properties are by far the most common, and they’re spread right across the town. The town centre — around North Street, South Street and Market Street — tends to attract a mix of sizes, while the residential streets to the west and south (think Lamond Drive, Hepburn Gardens, Scooniehill Road) are where you’ll find more of the larger flats and houses.
One-bedroom flats are thinner on the ground, but they do exist — worth checking if you’re looking for somewhere solo or as a couple.
If you’re house-hunting as a group, the four and five-plus bedroom options are naturally fewer and tend to go quickly — the map gives you a rough sense of which parts of town they are most likely to pop up in.
A note on the data
The map is based on listings tracked by StAgents during the 2026 letting season. Locations are approximate — properties are shown at street level rather than exact house number. The data has been cleaned to exclude duplicates and any listings that arrived with very poor quality data.
